Why Am I Not Satisfied? What To Do?


Now we are to some extent very clear that what makes this body to perform actions. What is the reason we are either very happy or struggling in this life. What is suggested is we should look more of inside rather than outside because our body through the senses and the sensory organs, we are made to look outside to enjoy the material benefits. Material benefits are ok but we don't get satisfied with how much we have or we don't have. We always crave for more. So to get more satisfied life and peace we should try look inside or in other words we should try to identify ourselves with our soul. This is the beginning.

What is the difference from seeing outside and inside?

Outer world is full of material benefits. When a person always thinks about material benefits he thinks it through his five senses and sensory organs. That is why the preference, likeness, attraction differs from person to person. Because each person's view through their senses differs. So he/she thinks/see the material world through their senses, so develops an attachment towards it., From attachment comes the desire. So first he thinks, then develops an attachment and finally gets desire towards it. This is applicable to everything he sees. Then his mind is disturbed. Now mind begins to wander. He gets attracted and begins the process of possessing it. If he gets it he feels happy but if he does not gets it he gets angry, frustrated. So he keeps on trying. Even when he gets what he wanted he goes for another and another and this process continues. Some of the things he desires comes to him. Most of the things don't come to him.

So if at all you possess something or you don't possess something your mind has to be the same. Don't get too excited or too frustrated. Both the emotion or feelings will create a bond between you and the result due to an action. Anything you felt happy after achieving something will give a good bonding and you get attached which develops a good karma. The opposite gives you a bad karma. So to stop developing a karma whether is good or bad you get detached from the results.. It is always the results that either makes you happy or sad. So if you don't achieve what you desired you become frustrated and your mind starts dominating you. Mind scatters leading you to do lots of destructive actions. Because of your scattered mind your knowledge gets weaker. You become restless, take revenge, become coward, etc. So understand what makes you all this?

So whenever senses and sensory organs join together you get happiness or sorrow, Success or failure, likes or dislikes etc. So there are always two things you may get because of seeing through five senses and sensory organs. This is how it happens. There is no alternative. That is why you have to close your eyes and observe yourself. What is that you really want? Don't think about your future or past. Always be in present. In the present ask yourself, Am I happy? What do I want?

How to be in present? My mind always thinks about past failures and makes me to think about the future. So how to be in present and how to develop it.
